OUR PHILOSOPHIES
- We are honored to be a group/organization that has the compassion and desire to help others naviagte uncertainties of prostate cancer and the options available to them
-We desire to have the newly diagnosed patient along with their spouse/caregiver reffered to us immediately to ensure options are explored and questions answered.
-We strongly encourage each person's spouse/caregiver to attend all meetings
-We will continually work to strenghten our partnerships as we develop them
-It is our goal to earn the trust of our partners, the community and those that we serve, the prostate cancer patient, the prostate cancer survivor and their families
-Our board memebers (officers) are available and can be conducted day or night by newly diagnosed persons
-It is our cancer survivrs that help to underpin the insecurities of the newly diagnosed and we support our community of survivors
-We will host guest speakers to ensure that the newly diagnosed and survivors are properly educated
-We encourage the newly diagnsed to be proactive and vigilant in searching out knowledge about their particular cancer and we will assist them in this effort
-A website will be maintained with information on treatment options, support group meeting schedules and contact information for all members/officers/mentors
-Cancer is personal to us! We care and we share!
